When I was little, I used painting and books to escape from reality. The more experienced I get, the more complicated, cautious and complex I become. So on weekends afternoons, I tried to venture around my homeland with a beginner DSLR, catching lights and shadows in the urban neighbourhood. Boosted by an ice Americano, putting on my earphones, I almost feel invincible and invisible among the crowds. The satisfaction of feeling lost in somewhere I belong is addictive. Photography is also an attitude towards life. Taking an image, freezing a moment, reveals how rich reality truly is. It is a precise, instinctive and powerful tool for us to realise what life means to each and everyone of us.

A female photographer born and raised in HK. Despite of all the turmoils and setbacks, still finding a way to see and voice out through my lens.
